Qualifications

  • ​Minimum of 1 year of prior experience in customer service or hospitality required.

  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and be receptive to feedback.     

  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

  • Be a dependable team player.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.

  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. and be able to bend, reach, push, pull, and stand for prolonged periods with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

  • Create an engaging guest experience with friendliness and attentiveness.

  • Report to work as scheduled, on time, and prepared.

  • Take orders on the POS, handle cash and digital transactions.

  • Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes with accuracy, efficiency, and quality while adhering to all food and health safety guidelines.

  • Keep all areas of the store clean at all times of business operation.

  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations.

  • Stay informed about menu items to best assist customers.

  • Be flexible and open to performing tasks, both expected and unexpected, that arise during each shift.

General Manager

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of restaurant/cafe management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and an in-depth understanding of restaurant operations.

  • Be able to work full time.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.

  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and multitasking skills.

  • Knowledge of local health and safety regulations; obtain and maintain Food Handler Certification as required by the state.

  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. and be able to bend, reach, push, pull, and stand for prolonged periods with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the business under the guidance of the Director of Operations.

  • Exemplify and enforce adherence to safety and sanitation standards.

  • Train staff to follow café protocol and provide ongoing support and development for all team members while nurturing a positive and collaborative work environment.

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels and anticipate store needs daily.

  • Uphold excellent guest service and resolve inquiries and/or complaints professionally and empathetically.

  • Actively engage with the local community to enhance Sulbing’s presence.
